At Debbie Mastel and Associates, we are looking for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal with a strong background in Real Estate (residential and commercial). 

This role requires a detail oriented, self-motivated individual who is highly organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 

This individual will require a Class 5 Drivers License, their own vehicle and be able to provide a criminal record check should an interview be scheduled.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting with the preparation and review of legal documents and correspondence for the DPQC Law solicitor department ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements

 

  • General records management of a complex filing system by receiving, sorting, and distributing office files and documents, updating files and records, and purging documents as needed

 

  • Confidential document deliveries and bank deposits to multiple locations while maintaining strict deadlines
